Minecraft

is a game. A survival game. A hardcore survival game. It's hard on easy mode. that's right. I love it. I should really start at the beginning, though: if you like video games, read on, if you dislike or don't care for video games, why are you reading my blog? (beats me, since half the stuff I talk about is videogames and the other half is milk. you must really like milk. even more than me. [see "milk fetish"]) Anyways, I was starting at the beginning. alright, lets go.

"Minecraft is a game about placing blocks to build anything you can imagine. At night monsters come out, make sure to build a shelter before that happens," is the world of minecraft in the words of notch, minecraft's secretive creator. In minecraft, well, your avatar (who is a guy in a blue shirt, always) spawns in a randomly generated world that will continue to generate randomly as you explore. (if you want more on random generation check here.) you have nothing, and unless you have checked out some tutorials or played minecraft  in the past, no idea how to move, much less open your inventory. after about five deaths, you'll have it all figured out. It's a great very open game-(when I say open, I mean open. some guy made a 1:1 scale model of the starship Enterprise. it was HUGE.) it's literally what you make of it. you should be playing minecraft. If your still confused, watch the below video. if you aren't confused, watch it anyways. it's cool.
