Is harder than you might imagine. You're bouncin' around and bumpin' up and down, having all the sugar drained out of you. you're thirsty, but the good song is on and you're having to much fun to leave and get a drink. And then a slow song comes over. Now, don't get me wrong, I like slow songs, but asking a girl to dance requires confidence. Now, all you old people out their, who don't do this kind of thing anymore, don't you dare go "back in my day we..." because I know that that's ridiculous. You where afraid to ask girls to dance too. Now, for all the girls out their, let me give you a rundown of why it's hard to ask you to dance.
you look around for someone to dance with. You're too embarased to move right away, but you don't want to ask a girl you've been standing around by for a while because you'll look dumb. You also start to worry about asking anyone who was looking at you while you danced during the fast dance because if they where looking at you they probably think you're weired and don't want to dance with you. Now it's a quarter of the way into the dance and you're panicing. Around now, two things can happen.
A) You Man up and make your move
B)You don't.
If you don't, you sit on the sidelines with an increasing feeling of sick guiltyness for the enire dance because you have failed your manly duty to ask a girl to dance.
If you do, You get to know somone new and interesting and/or get to know someone you knew already better.
The biggest worry is that because since you are a generaly unatractive and sigtly carazy persone with no friends, no one will actualy want to dance with you, but they will out of pity.
I tell you, It's hard.
It's not easy for the girl either, I'll have you know. You think if some guy wanted to dance with you he would've asked by now, and if you ask and he says no then what? You can't take your friends with you, but if you don't you might lose sight of them and end up sitting alone in the corner until the next song comes on and people start circulating again.
