See-through life forms

Have always amazed me. To me, it is incredible (and entertaining) that a living thing should be clear. I mean, its like, craziness! imagine going to the doctor, and having him look through your chest and tell you exactly what's wrong with you? Neat! You make a better window than a door. The one problem is that most of these species reside deep underwater, and we know little about them. in fact, scientist estimate that human research has only discovered ten percent of oceanic species, and we have knowledge of about 230,000 species! that's a lot of different fishies. (Yes, it's spelled wrong.) So, while I am writing this, I am researching marine biology in other tabs, and I've found some pretty cool stuff!

Okay. so this fish isn't see-through. but it's pretty neat.
You can see its brain. Oh yeah. That's ludicrous. Its brain.

Now, this is just downright cool.
So, have you noticed? pretty much all of the coolest animals ever are... fish. we know so little about them, and the ones that are newly discovered are more and more interesting. did you know that scientists recently discovered a eel-like thing that is part animal, part plant? Like, it had plant cells in it. It's some sort of sea slug, called Elysia Chlorotica. craz-i-ness.Anyways, i have sort of a recently blooming ( like today kind of recently) interest in marine biology. So maybe I'll post some more about it...
