Today I was just loafing around, seeing as I don't have any school. And, just because, I started to listen to some of my Mario galaxy music. It's lively tempo and upbeat themes awakened something that had gone dormant in my mind; a kind of childish excitement, of dreams, of adventure. I find it fascinating how music can affect one's mood, reawaken memories, and inspire actions. For me, the music made me remember the magic of playing Mario. It helped me shrug off my melancholy mood. but I'm willing to bet that music can work the other way, too.
So maybe we should make all depressed people play Mario.

Techno music
Can be made by anyone. So, just today, I was looking at some free Synthesizer software. It's pretty interesting, since, if you think about it, probably most dj's and stuff started out here. Also, i was interested in making a techno song? maybe?
Well, turns out that is all really confusing. But I'll keep trying.

Waltz For Luma
Is a blog that people actually care about- some people, at least. the girl who does Waltz for Luma publishes sheet music from videogames. And other things. Like classical music, or stuff. It's mostly pretty challenging, and if you play music, don't wave it off in a generalized "bad music" group- Millions of dollars are spent to develop good soundtracks, and not in vain. the music is lovely. you can find the home page at: http://aivitran.blogspot.com/. My personal favorites include Mario and Zelda, But she also composes original pieces and has music from practically any Nintendo game- you name it, she's got it. If your just interested in listening, she has all sorts of tracks, to. Fun stuff.

Music
I love music. In fact, I love it so much that I am going to share some of my personal favorites with you. Ain't I nice.
For the most part, I enjoy classical music- Beethoven, Bach, Handel, etc. you can find a lovely collection of classical titles for live streaming at the EPL website, (http://www.epl.ca/licensed-databases/naxos-music-library-listen-online) at the online database, naxos music library. You will need a library card (who'da thunk?- Actually, I should add here, since a portion of my readership is in the sates, that you would need an Edmonton library card. You can just search Naxos in Google then sing up with them to get the same results.) to access the database. One of my favorites is the planets (enter that in the search bar). I especially enjoy the Jupiter movement. I also love some of the beautiful music from video games- Click here for a link to a wonderfully sad Zelda song. Here are some other links to music I enjoy:
I'll probably post more, later.
